    Who else does insanity???

I started insanity last June, and I'm still going strong after a lapse during Christmas.... I love the workouts, but my diet needs much improvement.... I feel like this should be a great way to get ripped, but lately I'm getting kind of discouraged because I have such little energy after my 10 hour shifts that I am not getting much out of the workouts. Anybody have good results because of insanity? If so, what kind of diet regimen were you on?

I did P90x up until the middle of second month. Pulled a muscle in my chest. After I recovered from that I tried Insanity....it is hard on the knees but I pushed through. Made it to the second month and got in a car accident that messed up my back for a few months. Been recovered now for about 6 months and thinking to get back into Insanity slow at first to see how I hold up.

My problem has always portion control and now it is catching up to me. I started back on a water diet to shed some weight.

I did it and my stamina/ cardio improved greatly. If your diet is garbage (just saying in general) you are killing yourself with the workouts for nothing. It all comes down to discipline. Be strong, brother.

I did it last spring & lost 25lbs. Being fit is really 70% eating healthy & 30% exercise. It's definitely the best workout I've ever done.
Try doing it before your long shifts. You may be tired at work for the first week, but then it should start increasing your energy & stamina levels greatly.

        Good luck!

I thought about this, but I work early morning shifts, so I'm going from 3:30-1:30... I don't know how I'd do working out at midnight...
