Not a bull in the herd

My brother in Durango took this picture yesterday at the pasture across the road from his house. There is no bull in sight, normally we would see a least a couple of young satellite bulls with the herd but he said they didn't show

It's strange there are no bulls
But regardless, I love that place and would love to be able to take pics of elk and deer

this is the same pasture and a picture I took a couple of years ago..when I glassed the herd I could see at least a half dozen bulls of various sizes deep in the herd
