Lifes Twists and turns, Trade Gun Work for bow for GF

For those you who have wished me well during my divorce and all my surgeries which I still have two more surgeries to go, I thank you for all the well wishes and prayers.
4 years ago I dated a woman that was always there for me and never turned her back on me. She loves hunting and fishing and anything outdoors and she loved me like crazy. Well I could not see how special she was and I married someone else, that marriage turned out to be a nightmare.
After all of that and I had filed for divorce, I was at the store and ran into my old girlfriend. She looks more beautiful than ever and we sat an talked in HEB for an hour. Make a long story short we are back together and 4 years have changed both of us for the better.
She is loving shooting the kids bow I have so for christmas I am wanting to get her a good used bow right handed and draw weight some where around 35 up to 55 max.
I will trade accurizing work and telfon coating on 2 guns for the bow.
Value of my work is 475.00. Bow does not have to be worth that just as long as it works good looks decent. It is a good chance to get costly gun work for a trade.

John, don't need your services, just wanted to let you know how glad I am that your life is making a turn for the better. Life is way too short to not be happy. If she is the right girl, don't let her get away this time. BTW, good luck on your upcoming surgeries.

      John,
I don't need any gun work, so I have nothing to offer. But I did want to say that I hope things are going well. You have made a huge sacrifice to give someone else a chance at life. Prayers go out for future surgeries and a full recovery. I also hope your new relationship works out well for both of you.

Best wishes in your renewed relationship.

Not sure if renewed is the right word. Rekindled? Revived? Heck, I don't know. But you know what I mean. Whatever it is, I wish you both much joy and happiness.

John, shoot me a PM. I don't think I need any gun work, but I have a 26"-27" / 40#-50# Mathews Ultra 2 that she might be interested in shooting.

That is awesome and I wish y'all the best.

Here is the bow. Any idea what her draw length might be?

I glanced at the title and I thought you where wanting to trade a gun or a bow for a girlfriend. I was about to tell you how stupid an idea that is.

Good luck in your relationship and your search for a bow.

John, I can't send a reply PM (it's too many characters or something like that) so I will just respond here.
First of all, the bow was given to me back in 2002 by a person who also wanted to pass along the bow to an upcoming female shooter. Secondly, I empathize with your situation.

Tell ya what...I have a stock (except for trigger job) Remington .260. If you think there is any magic you can work on the gun to help me shoot it better, I think that would be an awesome trade!

I have two cams for the bow. a 26" and a 27". Right now, it has the 27". The cam is draw length specific so if neither of those fit her to within 1/2 inch, a new cam can be purchased for $80. I would also recommend a new string sometime in the next year. The string that is currently on the bow looks good but it is four years old. The cable is relatively new.

I've got some Easton carbon arrows she can have and she can borrow the trophy taker rest for now.

I can meet up with y'all anytime.

Good Luck in rekindled relationship and keep in mind the second time around is golden as you know what you want and don't want.
