I did hear about a guy that shot a buck off a place he did not have permission and turned out he did not have a hunting license. Cost him $500 for no license and $5000 restitution for the buck. Not sure if that is the one but it could be.

Ya, several neighbors have pics of the other deer on game camera, but none of this one. Never imagined two deer of this size being killed off the property in which they were.

I always thought they weren't, from the same property. I've been told twice they were, but Im still skeptical. The one above looks more like what's around hag.

The game cam pic was incredible of the other. I agree two deer that caliber is amazing.

I have seen pics from that area. There are definitely some nice deer up there. Its a shame that one was not taken legally if that is the case.

Those brows look a lot a like. I would like to see if the little drop tine on the right side of that buck on the ground actually grows back not down. If that is so I would make an argument that those are the same deer. Just me thinking.

Let me stop the speculation. The buck in the picture was killed illegally by the person holding it without a hunting license. The charges we filed on the subject and the head was seized and belongs to the State now. The person is NOT Dr. Kroll. I can't give specifics because this is a pending case.

Thank you...and I am cleaning this thread. I wish I would have seen it earlier....shame when assumptions are made from a pic....especially one with a portion of the face
