Its been a long road with my BIL.. Hes been battling addiction for a long time... We went in a 2 year in house rehab about a year ago got out started using again... Violation Proll and went back to prison.. Got out after a year and started back up using again.. He got clean for several months then out of the blue last month he was found face down in the floor by his mom.. He had OD at home... Now we have found that he has been wrighting checks to himself over the last month out of gmas account.. Who is 83 yrs... well His parents called the police last night to have him arrested over it but the police have to investigate first they said before taking him to jail.. Since he is still on proll these charges should get him back in for at least 10 years.. Hes only 24years old.. Just say a prayer for his parents Its hard on them right now having to send there son back to prison..

A man reaps what he sows. I'm glad he did not get behind the wheel of a car when high and kill some innocent person..

I'm sorry to say that and he has my prayers. I can't imagine the pain of having that happen to somebody I care about. I've had to deal with alcoholism but never with jail time.

I pray this morning that something more powerful than drugs would touch his life and that our Lord would break the chains that are binding this young man. May his parents find peace and instruction on helping him with this addiction.

Your story hits close to home. I have a 21 year old family member headed down the same path. She has volunteered for rehab and is headed there in the coming weeks. I pray that your BIL can get himself straightened out.
