Trying to squeeze in a couple hours to pop a doe, prime time hits just now and 2 domestic dogs come wandering in barking and sniffing around! What the heck man?!!

Should I sit tight or hang it up for the morning? I am hacked!

Sit tight. Then later on go get your pellet gun and give them a little stinger. I dont advocate killing them but they will head for the hills if you pop em in the butt real good.
