To keep from hijacking the other thread i wanted to start this one to help out those who want to learn. Im not suggesting im the one to teach anybody but Texas has a Trappers Association. They are a great group of people and they have people to mentor and teach. They also have field day swhere they actually go out and run a trap line to show everyone what th edifferent sets look like and they also show you how to skin , flesh and stretch your hides. Back when i still had time to have a life i was a member and learned alot from them. I had been trapping since i was a kid but they still showed me tons of stuff i didnt know.
