I've got a whole day of this stuff. Preparation classes, financial classes, yadda yadda. Boredom is the biggest understatement. Please keep me entertained tbh lol.

Thank God for cell phones, and invisible magic Internet. Without tbh I would be thinking about the worst.

You're very right, these things are very important. However when you've had the same classes from the same people several times. As an EOD team Sgt. I have to be exposed to these situations all the time with my guys.

North Fort Hood and they were walking up and down the rows making sure we were paying attention. After repeating the same things over and over, some of us jut walked out. They do get boring (toning important), but if we don't get it by the second repetition, we ain't gonna get it, no need to repeat 10 times

We received briefs for everything. If you were going to 29 stumps, you got a brief. Going to Bridgeport for cold weather training, you got a 2 day brief. Also received another brief when you got there from the instructors.

"Hey Sarge, what you got on your phone there? Be interesting to the rest of us?"

                            "PAY ATTENTION!!"

Good luck and stay safe. Former EOD myself (from a looonnggg time ago).

If I could vanquish one thing from my 7 yr stint...it would be the repetitive death by PP and CBTs. One training and that's it, not a every year or deployment cycle.
