Antique duck decoy values?

Any ideas on how I could get values or appraisals for some antique hand carved duck decoys? I hear some can be quite valuable. Whatcha say screen?

Be careful I had some looked at yrs ago in Austin, was told they were worth around 150.00 sold them because I had no use. Saw them at a show in Houston eight months later for 225.00 each.

They run anywhere from $20 to $500k. Throw up some pics and maybe folks can help you out. I used to collect em but probably haven't bought any new ones in the last 10yrs. They have several books with values in them and there's always several on EBay although several of the sellers are a little confused on what they have. Or they used to be.

Grandpa's old decoys are worth around $10 each......


He had a dz or so wired together in a cluster and 3 or 4 rubber ones that trapped air when you set them out. We hunted farm ponds and always killed a lot of ducks, mid 50's.

Look on the bottom or keel and see who made them if you can. Post pics and someone may be able to help. May not be worth a lot and could be like hitting the lottery
