    another job thread

    alright guys i dont post much just a long time reader. i quit my job and need another one. i have no college degree. i ran the family ranch since i found out college wasnt for me. then i was a roughneck for 4 years and got tired of that. now back to running the ranch and guiding hunts, working cows for different people,hunting and tracking deer. Hunting season is coming to a close and need a job. i live around dallas/ft worth and willing to relocate. let me know if anybody knows of anything. thanks

    never too late to change your mind and go back to school... theres alot of good trade degrees that are 2yr deals and you have a mound of work when you come out. I went into medical and it was the greatest thing I ever did..

          thought about getting back on the rigs in ND but want to see what else is out there first.

              I'll second that one. If you have the desire and can manage going back at least for 1-2yrs for trade as mentioned medical is always hot. If that doesn't float your boat then anything computers or electronics especially PLC/Robotics programming or troubleshooting. I used to work at a medical device manufacturer that made the decision to close the plant. All the electronic & automation technicians were the first to find good jobs. One guy landed in the Dallas area at $32/hr + overtime with 12 hr rotating schedule. Good luck
