Upgrades can be fickle. When possible a fresh install is usually better than an upgrade. Check for any available MS Updates and you might check the Oracle site for any patches or updates too. Good luck!

7 is the best windows right now. I'm not a fan of Window 8. Also, 7 is much better than previous versions of windows.

7 is great. 8 blows!!! 8 is ok if you have a touch screen or use a tablet. 7 is the best since xp for sure.
