Proud owner of Summit Max SS 180 Climber!

Just got me that 180 MAX climber by summit! Can't wait to try it out! Should come in handy hunting Wisconis and Grapeview Lake this year. Does anyone else use a summit?

I have some other brands but a friend has a Summit. Summit stands are REALLY stable and safe. They bite into the trees, you are going to like it - a LOT!

Congrats!, I think you will find it very comfy. I have a Cobra X4 I bought several years ago. I've slept many nights in it while hogg-n.

Yeah, I have been thinking about the Summit 180 Max or the new Titan. I have used a Summit Viper for the last few years and really like it, but would like more room (6'5", 285lbs).

I picked up a Summit Open Shot a couple of years ago and really like it. At the time it was the lightest on the market. You do have to use your arms / upper body to climb because it does not have the loop on the upper half that you sit on to climb , but not a problem.

I found one for $290 shipped. Let me know if you want it.

Thanks, but I'm probably going to use my Viper for another year. I would have to dip into my bow fund, and I think I need a new bow more this year.

I bought a Summit Viper back in January. I haven't hunted with it yet but have set it up in a tree in the backyard. Very comfortable and roomy enough for me (6'2", 275 lbs). I got a deal on it when Academy had their end of season clearance sale. Paid about $170 for it out the door.

Those things scare me, be safe and wear a harness. I've seen too many requests for prayers on bowhunting web sites resulting guys falling from all brands of 'em.

I have an older Summit that I love. However, its a little heavy and was considering an upgrade this year since I'm back to hunting public again this year.
