Insulating a pier and beam floor
Any advice from the green screen

I hear the blown in expanding foam is some incredible stuff. I've never had anything done with it, maybe some one who has can add something. If I could afford it I'd have my attic and my detached shop and garage done with it.

I'm not sure it would work with pipes and all

We have the expandable foam in our house and it is absolutely the best. If you put it on pipes under your house I would make a drawing of where everything is because it will be buried in foam.

It won't hurt to bury them in foam????

Don't insulate the floors but insulate the under pinning/siding.

We put sheet metal on the bottom of the beams, spray foamed the corners, and laid insulation over the sheet metal at our cabin in east Texas. never had a problem with anything getting in the house.
