    Freaky 5 is down FINALLY!

I've been trying to kill this deer since last season and just never met up with him. He was always at my feeder but never when I was there. Well, that ended yesterday morning. This freak 5 walked out of the brush and headed for the feeder. I had to wait several minutes for enough light to make sure it was the right deer. When I was positive it was him I let the old .270 do the rest. I was hoping to get him last year to keep him from spreading those genes.

About 4-5 years ago I shot a 6.5 yr old five that looks just like that ones twin. Click image for larger version

Wow, Buckwheat! Unbelievable how close they are. I just hope I'm not killing his offspring for the next few years!
