And offer them a free flat screen

But I do believe there are businesses that resale them for people. At least I used to see commercials for one place. Might just google it.
      Best of luck

Be very careful. Don't deal with any Florida companies.

Yeah finding an honest company to sell it is impossible. Tried one and got ripped off.

Man I don't know anyone who has been happy with a time share. Good luck on getting out from under it.

Pay someone to take it off your hands?

                Give it to your kids?

Leave it to someone you don't like in your will?

Dave Ramsey always recommends calling the place you bought the timeshare from and offering the salesman a higher commission than he gets selling the "new" timeshares.

I'm not sure if the location of the timeshare is convenient for you but my wife's uncle was in the used timeshare business. He used to go to the timeshare where he had an inventory and hang around the pool and talk to timeshare owners. A surprisingly large number of people own multiple weeks at a timeshare they like and would buy additional weeks from him if the price was right.

The best way to deal with a timeshare is to NEVER, EVER buy a timeshare.

Where is the timeshare located? There are actually people who like their timeshare and are willing to add another week. What exchange program is it associated with, Interval International or RCI? I like the idea of asking around with current owners.

Of course you can always offer a free cruise to get people to look at the resort.

It's located in Orlando and it is associated with Interval I believe. There are other locations as well, but the home resort is Orlando. It is the week of July 4th. One of the other locations is Branson. I think my wife is going to call them and see what happens.
