    Water Purifiers (SINK TYPE)

thinking of getting a faucet type water purifier for sink. Brita, Pur etc? anyone know which one is a good one to screw on your kitchen faucet end? thanks! This is for a Houston house that my daughter owns. Houston water is not fit to drink.

Better get one for Brenham, too if you don't have one. That water comes from Somerville and you don't even want to know what's been done in that water haha.

I've always used a Brita and its done its job.

We have a Pur. It really helps our water.

It's not a screw on but it is an individual sink filter. Berkey makes an under sink filter that is too shelf. Worth looking into

And when you are on the site check out a tabletop model too. They'll make you never want to drink tap water again

Check out the filter cost before buying.
I mounted one under the sink a few years ago for making coffee and tea. The dang replacement filters cost as much as the whole kit and caboodle did to install.

True. But I researched the capability and performance of the system. System performance and efficiency.
I look at it like buying work shirts. The brand I wear are close to $100 each, Walmart is $30. Mine last 5 to 6 years, Walmart lasts about 6 months, and doesn't offer the protection my e does...... Do the math
