2014 total hog kill thread

So my deer season has been tough haven't had much time to hunt with my work schedule I had one day to kill my buck so opted to sit all day didn't see a single deer sat in the tree till about 12:30 and went to the store and grabbed a bite to eat when I returned I decided to change spots hoping a nice buck would step out but no such luck feeder went off at 5pm less than 30 min later I hear this joker rustling in the brush he circled behind my pop up blind and made a half moon back to the feeder I had my bow in hand the second I heard him coming he stepped out and all I could see was his head as he worked his way to the opening he was facing my blind so couldn't draw he munched on corn for what seemed like forever but was more like 2 min finally gave me the opportunity to draw my bow when he was facing away from my blind held my bow for about 30 second and he finally gave me a hard quartering shot so I took it the arrow hit its mark entrance was in his last rib and exit was in front of his opposite shoulder he didn't know what hit him he wobbled a little and kind of trotted off waited listening for him to crash but never did it started to drizzle so I gave him 15 min and got out of the blind walked up to where he was standing when I shot and good blood right off the bat started trailing the blood trail that Ray Charles could have followed less than 30 yards from where I shot him he was down and dead it was a much needed kill it's been a while since I've spilled blood and it was a great feelin Dead Eye Deb has been praying for me to get a good buck but it just wasn't in the cards for me today it's a great feeling to put another one down thank you all for the congrats and thank you sooooo...... Much Deb for the prayers here are a few more ldp's as promised put down the Creed and used my Z7Xtreme with carbon xpress maximas tipped with my favorite broadhead G5 Strikers
