Not how I wanted to start the new year...

Last night my lab freaked out because of my neighbors excessive firework shooting for 5 hours. She's not gun shy because she hunts with me but I guess it finally got to her.
Anyways a prayer or two is needed that I can find her. My wife and my 3 year will be torn up! Not to mention myself

Lived in Hawaii for 7 years and had a lab there ruined by extreme fireworks from the neighbors. Any unexpected loud noise to this day causes him to completely freak out. We had to tranq him every Christmas, New Years and 4th of July.

I hate fireworks for those very reasons.

We used to live right behind a large mall and those &^*&^&&& blasted fireworks at every opportunity.

I had a similar experience with our golden retriever several years ago. I'm glad your experience turned out better than ours did.
