Who else is starting off the new year sick?

I have something. Feel awful! Was up all night working. Now fever, chills, headache, cough, fatigue, etc. has been terrible for 2-3 days. Girlfriend had it last week. Probably fly and it sucks. Missing a big New Years party but no way I would have had fun.

Bad sinus infection. Day three

Not sure if this is the flu or not. I did get my flu shot in October, but it sure feels like it. Slight fever, stuffy head/nose, bad headache, and chills.

I went in to the doctor Monday AM. They ran a test for the FLU and I was positive. They gave me a script of tamaflu. The nurses said that a whole lot of the flu cases had the flu shot. I guess it must not have worked very well.

I have been making tea consisting of ginger root, lemon and local honey. 3-4 cups a day. Plenty of water also.

I had the flu shot and pretty sure i have it. Got busy with work and didn't get a flu swab or tamiflu prescription. Now too late and have to suffer through. Hopefully sleep in tomorrow.

I am just now getting over pneumonia and it's been no fun! Still coughing a lot. So ready to be done with this!

Been dealin with a monster sinus infection since 2 days befor Christmas, its been hell to kick but im in the hone stretch now.

Me and the wife both have the crud. I tried to run/sweat it out today cause I really don't feel that bad but the holidays have caught up with me.

Now I'm through my first bottle of cabernet and she is sitting here complaining about neighbors staging their fireworks show in front of our house. Yep, I guess we are that old

The up side is that I'm home with my 14 year old and her best friend! This is probably the last year I can count on my kid being home on New Years Eve.

Guilty. My back locked up Monday before Christmas, got a sack of pills for that on Christmas eve so I could head to the lease with the kids Christmas day. Came down with the flu at the lease on Thursday. Today is the first day I have felt like even smiling. Do I win? Hang in there, it gets better.......eventually.

2 days post emergency appendectomy here - not quite what I had planned but glad the Dr. Got it out before it ruptured and blessed to have a wife that is taking care of me while recovering
