Howdy all.

Today was a big day for me. After almost 31 years, I have taken retirment from my job at the Houston Air Traffic Control Center. I would have been forced in the middle of next year anyway do to an age limit of 56.

No, I do not know what I am going to do next, but after a little time to relax and do chores around the Lost Cow Ranch, I will be looking for some kind of work to support my hunting and travel addictions.

Perhaps I will have more time to post and write stories up now. Anyway, just thought I would share the news with my many friends here.

How about some interesting/funny stories from inside the tower? I'm interested in what really goes on up there. I'm sure after all these years you have some good ones. Oh, and congrats on the retirement!

Mark-welcome to the retired ranks. Enjoy every day as you've earned it. One thing I need to tell you however. There is a BAD thing about retirement---you never get a day off!
