I am wanting to get a Bow Light of some sort, either XLR 100 or the HawgSniper 30 series. Question I have is which light works better with green pins? Or will they work about the same?

I have an XLR 100 (green), and it is good out to 100 yards on high, 50 or so on low power.
My 20 yard pin is green, and I have a good sight light as well (Spot Hogg). With my sight light on low, and my bow light on low, I have no problem shooting out to 20-30 yards (assuming I don't forget to charge the darn batteries). I have both a pressure switch, and a clicky switch. I prefer the clicky one, and I velcro it to the front of my grip so it is accessible, but out of the way.
Whatever you choose, practice with your setup and get used to it.
I plan to add some feeder lights to my favorite setup, that should help out even more.

The marauder is a pretty bright light, so 30-50 yard illumination is no problem. Uses 3 triple A batteries unless they have changed since I bought mine a few years ago. Also something to think about or remember is that brighter isn't better on night hunting, and low soft glow is the ticket. Personally, I prefer the red light with green pins, and I guess the red in general for up close bowhunting.
