Kinda unusual this time of year.
Usually occurs in the warmer months.

Wow. Rudey doesn't post for 5 years but comes out of the closet to spread knowledge of rabbit parasites.

How long will it take to see him again?

What obscure topic will unleash his posting prowess?

        Stay tuned.

I'll eat any rabbit that doesn't have spots on the liver, no matter what the month. Easy meal to get when you're at deer camp and not seeing the deer ya want.

Every time I look at this, I think of the movie "cacoon" or "the fly". Either way, its gross!

Rabbit hunted a lot growing up in Louisiana with some folks that would eat just about anything, they would always stay away from those rabbits with wolve worms, just sayin!

U would be describing me and my cousins to a T!!! We never ate them but NEVER would see them in our rabbits after the first frost of the year.

These are also called a heel fly grub. Surprised no cattle people on here who would know this. When they get this big, they have a breathing hole they make in the skin. The old way to get them out of cattle was to put the top of a Coke bottle over them and smack the bottom of the bottle to pop them out.
