Are there any websites that show deer densities?

I saw a website a while back that showed the deer densitities by county for Texas. We are contemplating a move for next season adn by GOD I'm tired of paying for a lease and not seeing deer.

Anyway any info would be appreciated.

I live in good brush along creeks between mountains and see no deer. Have killed 100 hogs in a year and half and haven't put a dent in the population. Too many hogs may be the problem.

Where do they get their data for that? Cause I will tell you, they are way off in some areas.

Look at south texas. <15 per sq. mi around the King and Kennedy Ranches?

And looking at SE Pennsylvania....they have about 5 counties listed at <15 per sq. mi. when everyone up there knows those are the most populated counties. It is those counties that cause most of the problems for managing the deer herd on a statewide phylosophy. Chester County is up over 50 deer per square mile in reality.

I wouldn't hold a lot of weight on that map.
