    Which One?

I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do this year while bowhunting. I bought a T-32 from Gametamers, but now, after looking around my area at the lease, there is not a durn tree that I can find where to hang it. I had thought about just moving a tripod over to the area, but at 48 years of age, I've starting thinking, "Man, its going to hurt if I ever hit the ground." So, I'm thinking of buying a good pop-up, like a DB, but wanted to check and see what you guys, and girls think.

So, which one would you choose, or have chosen?

groundmax popups, they have em at cabela's for like $100 they are plenty big for two people and are durable

i would rather hunt out of a ground blind then a tree stand but a elevated bow stand would be my first choice.

The advantage is yours from an elevated position!! Just be safe about getting into and out of the stand, and make sure you have a backup plan if things go bad, and you should be fine.

Ameristep makes one that is a dull finish. I think that is a key, the animals probably really don't care but I like the fabric dull. Double Bulls are great but they are pricey. You can buy twice the blinds that are just as good without paying for the name. Of course there are a lot of blinds out there and if only one brand was good, the others would go out of business.

Personally I like DB, they maybe pricey but they are well built and last.

I have yet to buy a db, though i have hunted out them and they are nice. I have a couple of the larger groundmax blinds that are well traveled and will I continue to buy them around $150. I do build a platform and raise the blin as high as the tree cover will allow. It seems i can get away with alot more the higher i get. I hunt in sonora and good trees are slim pickins. for lock-ons.
