We went to San Antonio yesterday to shoot sporting clays to benefit the International Hunter Eduation Association.
Yesterday afternoon was practice and the main shoot was today. The Outdoor Connection guys from Waco sponsored yesterdays activities and food and it was a great time. BUT when we got to the hotel we backed our flatbed trailer up to their truck (the OC guys). This would prevent someone from rolling the HuntV off the ramp of the trailer. Since we would all be leaving the hotel at the same time this seemed to be a great plan. However, when we came out of the hotel this morning, apparently the local low lifes stole the Outdoor Connection truck, then managed to get the trailer unhooked and took off with it too!
Of course the highly qualified security guard said that he remembered seeing it at 9:00pm but it was gone at 11:00pm. He "thought you must have loaned it to the guys in the other truck".
So heads up for a brand new HuntV in South Texas. A reward may be offered.
