Anyone use a picnic style table as a dinner table?

My wife and I are looking for this style of table to replace our small 4 seater table. With our third on the way, we need MO ROOM! . Anyone know of a place that builds nice picnic tables? Pics would also be great to help us get an idea/design we would like!

We did it In a duplex when I was at ATM. Different time. What about a mid range table with a leaf? Will give you room and expand If needed. I have had one from oak express for years. Don't think it was too expensive.

We had one when growing up. Fixing to start building one for our house now after the first of the year.

Just built this one. Made a custom built in bench to go with it but a picnic style bench would work just as well.
