RR right leg was not over tate...which relieves the pressure from the AB. It is a simple escape and taught early on in bjj
Just saying after all that hype...their skill set did not live up to it. IMHOThey looked tired, I didn't see slop with skilled position changes bro, sorry. When you said white belts rolling, you lost all credibility.

There is nothing scarier or more demoralizing than a full power Judo hip toss. Your legs go over your head, your opponent's weight is slammed down on top of you and normally your own ankles clack against each other. Then once you shake the cobwebs out, you're already in your opponent's kesa gatame and it's an epic struggle to regain guard or get back to your feet.
Karo Parisian was probably the guy you were thinking of. Fedor utilized a bit of Judo, too...right before he pounded opponents out with hammer fists.

as to credibility...do you roll?My instructor was Rafael Perlungher, look him up on YouTube. He runs an academy in Switzerland now but we started in the same building as Travis Lutter when Bruce Conti financed Travis' school after he broke off from Moeler BJJ.
And no, I mean position changes once they were on their backs.
