Release question

For you guys that use a release, do you like the trigger to be at the last joint of your finger? I just got a new one, it is adjustable and right now the trigger is at the middle joint of my finger, I kinda like it, was just curious where you set yours at.

I just go with whatever feels natural. And try not to be reaching for the trigger of your comfortable there use it. If your shooting good don't change it. I like mine in the middle cause I use the back tension philosophy when using a caliper.

Closer will be better. You want to pull through instead of squeezing

I use the first joint from the tip. That gives me the most control and feel. Use what works best for you.

This kinda what I was thinking, back tension seems to work better with trigger in middle of finger

Thumb release has also worked best for me. I always seemed to jerk a finger release.
