Just over a month ago I posted of a very good friend that had a climbing accident. After a fractured scapula, seven broken ribs, and his back broken, with a crushed spinal cord, he is home now, but will never be the same. He will never walk again and his life has been turned upside down. Not only is his physical abilities limited, but he struggles mentally everyday of his life. PLEASE be extra careful when you climb and check your equipment regularly. WEAR a SAFETY HARNESS at all times.
The earlier post about the gentlemen's accident in Louisiana and speaking with David (above) tonight made me post this. Safety sometimes isn't convenient and slows us down, but it is worth it guys. These type of accidents have really opened my eyes.
