    Single Pin Sight Suggestions

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.

I have been contemplating which sight to buy for a while now and trying to get some Pros - Cons on the sights below. I have narrowed it down to 3 brands. Please give me you thoughts on these 3 and why you prefer them.

    HHA
    MBG Ambush Ascent
    Trophy Ridge REACT One

    Thanks,
    Justin

The TR React is a neat concept but I can't get over the gold accents. It looks terrible.

I have 65 year old eyes. I went with the MBG and custom ordered the .29 pin. I have never shot so good in my 40 yrs. bowhunting.

I have been using the HHA ultra with the 2" aperture and love it. The only thing I wish it had was a third axis adjustment. But a quality tune up and sight in will make that a non issue. you have a target at 50 yards, you adjust to 50 yards and that arrow will hit where you intend it to every time. (Assuming all else being equal of course) best purchase Ive made and will most likely be buying a second for my back up bow.

I have been leaning towards the MBG and HHA, because it has the magnifier option.
Does anyone use the magnifier lens? This is mostly used to hunting from tree stands and ground blinds.

            thanks,

Just picked up the truglo range rover and it's a sweet sight so far.

I switched to HHA with light this year. I really like it.

I shoot the HHA also, but had a King Cobra single pin on my last bow. Both are good sights. Might look in the Equipment and Tuning section and do a search for your question. I've seen it discussed there previously.

I have a Copper John, which is not on your list. It was the only one I could find 3 years ago that came in camo from the factory, which I wanted. I'm happy with it, too.

In looking at switching also. Looking at several under $100

                          MBG Ascent Ambush user here.

                          Pros:
                          -fairly light
                          -brightest pins of everyone IMO
                          -photochromic shell works awesome
-completely customizable (sight ring color, dovetail, pin colors, single pin, 3 pin, 5 pin, etc)

                          Cons:
-price (they can be expensive with custom options but otherwise they are on par with HHA and cheaper than Spot Hogg, and I got a great deal on mine )
-poor sight light design IMO (the light filtering through the photochromic shell kinda blinds you when trying to look at the pin at first and last light)
-yardage tapes don't have colors that can be seen at first and last light

I'm nitpicking on the cons but that's really it. I wrapped a band around the shell to kill the light bleeding through to fix the problem but it needs to be addressed by MBG.

I had a HHA DS 5019, that's the dial with a .019 pin and I had to get a bracket to make my quiver fit (Tight Spot). The slider has more quiver options....I didn't have the rattle on my HHA but I've seen people say that it's loud. Really bright pins on HHA's as well and they have an adjustable rheostat to control "starbursting" of your pins on extremely bright, sunny days. I think HHA is very solid but I don't see myself going back to them, I'm gonna stay with MBG, you just can't beat the pins on them IMHO. You also can't beat the uncluttered sight picture from a single pin.
