Dang dogs...

I haven't been able to make a hunt the last couple of weeks. I had my chance today. I got up, got ready and made it to the lease. Park the truck and soon as I step out I hear a dog barking. Sounds like its ~400 yards northeast of my stand and headed away.....I'm kinda bummed but am glad its moving away. Well it decides to hook a left and makes a half circle and ends up on the west side of me and sounds like its a lot closer. It finally turns and heads west out of hearing distance. Not ten minutes later two more dogs start barking on the east side of me. They are across the lease road by the sound of it but that's only a few hundred yards from me.

Not sure I'm going to see much during this hunt.

^^^^^^^this. We have goats and three big dogs with them. The male barks all the time. And it doesn't bother the deer. When the goats come through the deer just a few minutes after they leave. Hang in there

Well they sure didn't help lol......nothing stirred this morning except the dogs. Maybe next time.

I hear dogs barking all the time when I hunt... still see plenty of deer! Maybe tom will be better. Good luck

Dude i hear dogs barking, lawnmowers, kids, radios, vehicles nonstop every time i hunt at my lease, the deer do to, no biggy.
