    Messing around with slowmo

I took a slomo video and paused it then stepped it forward. Pretty cool to see what the bow and arrow do after the shot.

Cool. Back when I was a kid when dad and I were first getting into bow hunting, we didn't know about paper tuning. So we'd set the camcorder up on a tripod and review the footage of our arrow flight in slomo, to see if it was flying true. Also, helped us work on our form.

I wonder if a go pro is capable of this? Those are very cool!

I just had my BIL film me using the SLO-MO camera on my iPhone. Then during playback you can slide the "cursor" with your finger and step it frame by frame. Then I just took a screen shot image at different frames. The main thing I was looking for is that I was staying still throughout release (especially my left hand).

Here is the original video (it is processing, but you should be able to see it in about 30 mins): https://vimeo.com/82529828

I have the Hero 2 HD and I am not aware of a slowmo option. I've done slow mo edits, but all your doing is taking 32 frames and slowing it down. With the iPhone you are actually recording at 120 frames per second.
