Guided hunts???

So I'm kicking around the idea of putting a little guided hunt together with some of the guys I work with. We want to keep it kind of inexpensive. So I'm thinking a ram or exotic doe hunt is probably gonna be the best bet. We want the hunts to be guided since some of the guys don't hunt on the regular. We also want to have the option to use rifles or bows. A full service five star weekend is not what we are after. We can cook our own food and provide our own beverages. Just looking for a good place to spend a couple nights and do a little hunting. I have five people that are interested in doing this as of now with a couple more that might want in as the plans form.

So what are some good places to check into that offer budget hunts for rams or exotics?

I have been told there are some hog hunts like you are talking about around that don't cost too much. Shiloh Ranch in Oklahoma comes to mind.

Thanks guys. I have been wanting to do a diamond c hunt for myself for a while now, but we definitely need to be able to bring the boom sticks on this one. And we are wanting to stay in Texas just for gas and license cost savings. Thinking about it, a hog hunt could be a lot of fun though. Maybe something at night

It's going to be kinda hard to find a place where you are going to be able to do your own thing involving everything but hunting and still have a guide. Most that provide guides are a full meal deal.
