UPS kudos

I know there is a thread on here about delays with them and weather and what not.

But last night I was expecting a package, not uncommon for the UPS guy to come by at 7. Gate was closed so I told my 17yo to go check by the gate around 7:30 to see if they had come by, he sees nothing. I leave for work this morning and the box is on the gate post. I give him the speech about opening his eyes and looking.
Had another package coming today. Forgot about it and heard the dog barking about 10min ago and looked out and the brown truck was at the gate.

These guys are putting in some overtime to get our stuff here

Checked the tracking on the first one and it shows it was delivered at 9:30 last night. Guess I can cancel the oldest's eye appointment

Brian...the same guy delivered to my house after 8 pm last night and said they had been delivering until after 11 pm. He also said they would be making deliveries all day Sat. And Sun.

I spoke to mine yesterday, as well. He's worked until 11:00 the last week.

A buddy of mine works for Big Brown. He said it's unreal the tongue-lashings they are getting for something that's out of their control. Seems to me folks ought to give these guys a break... in the Christmas spirit, and all.

I hope my story ends as well as yours! We finally found a ski jacket my youngest wanted and we ordered it last Saturday. Paid for two day shipping and it still has not arrived. I sure hope we see the big brown truck soon as we are leaving for Colorado tonight to take the kids skiing and have a white Christmas. Come on brown you got this.
