Take a popup and brush it in well. Shoot through the mesh. I do it all the time. I am headed to my sisters place this weekend. They only have rifle blinds. I am taking 3 popups and a ladder stand. I have killed quite a few deer and pigs there with these setups. I really enjoy killing stuff with a bow around the rifle hunters. They always think their deer are too smart or too hard to kill. Sometimes it takes extra effort and a little work.

honestly if your meat hunting I can't tell you how many times simply using back drop was enough to cover my pop up. instead of brushing find a place where you can use the shadows and the back drop to put your pop up.
I've also popped em up and hunted them with decent success leaving them alone a day or two is great . . . .not required. especially when you may only be there a day or two.
just building a ground blind out of brush with a small chair and good camo works well in that situation too.
