    Just wondering?

What are some of the favorite ways of getting your deer and hogs processed.
Ive never had some done for myself but i have tried all kinds. Hoping to send my first deer to process soon before the season is over.

Never done it, but the next Hog I shoot I am going to have a Crown Roast made, I know the processor will do it. I'm typically just backstrap and tenders whole and the rest ground. I don't buy ground meat anymore at the store

do all mine myself. Mostly steaks and burger. But have done breakfast sausage and summer sausage too. All depends on how much we are doing at one time. Hard to beat deer fajitas also.

I guess it all depends on what you like to eat.
The different flavors of smoked sausage gets really expensive but they are good. Green Onion, Green Onion & Garlic, Jap & Cheese, Cajun......

Cutlets, ground meat, and pan sausage are cheap and really good. A lot of times you can get the ground meat pre-mixed with beef. I like to use brisket myself. Cutlets are great for chicken frying or smothering down and making a good gravy for rice and gravy (probably my favorite).

I always like to get some summer sausage and smoked sausage made. My kids like to have the summer sausage for an after school snack, it doesn't last long.
