Little girl probably 8 weeks old. Looks like pit. Cute little girl but very skinny. Gave her some food and water. I'm hoping she finds her way back home but she has been laying at the front door for the past 4 hours.
At my house, with those "Can I stay here" eyes, wife and lil girl would have her a bed made with old t-shirts and a welcome home sign. Good luck with her.
Once you fed her, she isn't gonna go anywhere now knowing that she can get food from you. My wife and I have been fostering dogs and cats for the longest time. Its a great feeling when you find them a home. But, the cost can really get up there. If you don't plan on keeping her, I would suggest that you contact a local no kill shelter or just the animal control in your local area.
I'm a sucker for a pup but we already have two and can't take another. She's welcome to stay outside for a week or so but if I can't find her a home she will have to go to the shelter.
