Looking to buy new and would really appreciate some advice? Been looking at New Holland Workmaster and Massey Ferguson 2600 series. Seems like for every 1 good review there is a bad one. I am not set on anything yet. Would also like a 4wd as well. Thanks

My family has used New Holland for years, since they were Ford. Overall, very happy, but we've had a few lemons too. One, the A/C would never keep the cabin cold, just cool. Another one had a bad radiator.
MF makes a good tractor too. You're dealership's customer service and how they handle problems is more important than the green/blue/red paint!

I was looking too and read pretty much the same as he posted on New Holland and pretty well crossed off my list. I'm leaning hard Mahindra and would lean TYM and KIOTI but a little concerned about dealer support. Tough when shopping apples to apples with all the different lines/models for each brand.

We've had several industrial tractors and 2 35-55 hp, traded all the fords in for john deere or cat. JD have noticeably more power and the Cats are beast but seem to be sensitive to types of filters, oil etc. I have no experience with any of the others, even though only thing I've heard bad about kubota is the price.

I got a Massey 52 horse ( I think) that I'm needing to sell, it's got 600ish hours on it and is a good, solid machine! it's the shuttle edition which is an added bonus as well, it's not 4x4 but has been taken well care of and still has a ton of life left in it! o ya and it's a 2006... prolly not quit what ur looking for but figured I'd through it out there... if your interested, PM me and I'll get you more info, price, pics, etc! Thanks

I fully agree with the advice given by our late Jaspro. "Under 100 hp - Kabota hands down; 100 and over John Deere hands down"
I had a John Deere 40 hp which I replaced with a Kabota 35 hp and it was better. That one was replaced by a Kabota 50 hp which was great. That one was replaced by a KUBOTA 70 hp, I put over 300 hrs on it last year and love it.
Moral, buy more tractor than you think you need!

We have an older Ford 6610 that's been pretty good to us, and a smaller New Holland 35 or so horse. Can't hardly keep my grandpa off of the new Holland, he loves it.
Although if buying new I wouldn't hesitate to look at the Kubotas. Heard great things about them.
For smaller tractors I haven't really been a fan of the JD ones for some reason.
Although, we also have a 35 hp Belarus we bought many moons ago when we first bought the ranch and it has been one of the best tractors, only thing we've had to replace on it (knock on wood) is the alternator aside from regular oil and fluid changes.
