Got hit by thieves yesterday

They took two banged up 55 gal drums that used to be feeders (probably going to the scrap yard as we speak). What really hurts is that they took my new (to me) ladder stand.

Going to file a report today in the hopes they try to take the ladder stand to a pawn shop.

Based on what they took and what they left, they had to be interested in the metal for scrap - the ladder was just a bonus.

that sucks.... these days it's almost worth it to buy 3 cameras for every feeder location just to hide a couple to catch thieves.

My buddy got his ladder stand stolen as well off his lease. Really sucks!!!!

They are going to have to shut down scrapping at some point. Or make you get a license for the ability to scrap. It's getting ridiculous. Our meter was stolen from lighted sign the other day. The scrap/drug junkies are out of control.

That stinks! Once when I was younger my dad left the garage door open overnight and someone came and took all of our meat out of the freezer. We JUST had a cow done and had some nice steaks...

That was a sad sight to see

there are a couple of trucks/trailers that drive our subdivision each week looking for scrap metal. i keep a gamecamera aimed at the cover shed in the bushes. nothing on camera yet but the neighbors dog and deer cutting through the yard, thank the Lord!

Thieves that drive the alleys looking for open garage doors. I lost $1500.00 in tools due to that when someone left the door up when she came in from shopping. Probably wasn't three minutes because I checked to see if the door was down. That was all the time they needed. Plano... Several years back.
