So I am headed to the lease this weekend in Putnam which is right down the road from Abilene. I was wondering if anyone that has been hunting around there has tried rattling lately and if so are they still coming into it. Have not been hunting since the beginning of the season so I am not sure what to expect so any help would be greatly appreciated.

my family has a place SW of you about 25 miles and my uncle said the deer we're still showing some signs of rut earlier this week, that being said I would forsure hit the horns together! I'll b down there Wednesday to hunt for the day so hollar if you need anything! Goodluck -
