Every time that I went to go look at cars associated with MH, I have had bad experiences. And it isn't just Killeen, also in Belton, GT and Austin dealers. MH is such a huge franchise that customer service is thrown out the window. I even ran into a guy working at a pawn shop stating that MH made promises that were not kept and sold him a car that was falling apart.

There are other fish in the sea. Move on and find what you want. Nothing lost, nothing gained, except experience.

What form of paperwork did your friend require?

I have bought lots of vehicles and never needed any paperwork?

Go somewhere else & NEVER attempt to buy there again.

The management use to be a joke there. Might still be. Years ago they had a guy skimming money . The low man on the totem pole of the skimming took the heat. I am pretty sure some of the people involved are still there.
The service department has been nothing but a headache for me. I have a company truck and they are the closest approved place.

I will say this. My New car purchases at Mac Haik in Georgetown have always been grand. My used car purchasing experience, not so much

Pretty messed up, but I'm sure the sales manager just was cashing in on another commission and undercutting the original salesman. Bird in hand theory.

Tell your buddy to have his business in order next time he goes to buy a vehicle.

Lief is short, go spend his money with a dealer that wants to take care of the customer.

I think you should go up and slash all the tires of every used car on the lot.
