Here's a few pics of some 150+ range boars we've killed lately. Thankgiving week we killed 6 between 150-175, and one 240. To me, the 240 was a monkster. A 150#er cant even carry his jockstrap. When you see him on the hoof, there is no doubt!

Its cool you say that Mr. Jeff. (About eating 300lbers) i knew you kill quite a few hogs and always wondered what your outlook was. Personally i get a laugh out of the whole big hogs are nasty to eat mindset. We kill and eat quite a few big hogs around here both boars and barrs, do we occasionally let 1 lay? Yep BUT we eat a bunch of em too!

Sorry for the derail, back to the thread.... Im seeing 175-180 myself.

I never eat the big ones because I don't feel like messing with the 1" to 1 1/2" of fat when trying to skin them. Big ones are tougher to clean imo.
