    ha!! I ate one when I was 12 years old. On a camping trip in the woods with some friends. We kilt one cooked it on an open camp fire and ate it. No leprosy yet... It was very good as I remember.

      My wife had a young guy come into there clinic about two or three years ago that had leprosy. He got it from shooting dillos and throwing them over his fence. He had plaques all over his body that he didnt have any feeling in. He didnt even believe the doctor what it was when they told him it was leprosy. They had to send his info to some government facility so they could get in contact with him. Crazy

        Well I did almost the same as you...long time ago and to young to know...but I will never said it was bad to eat, as far as I remember it was great he-he!

              I made the mistake of killing one when I was 8. My dad made me eat it. It was my first and only lesson in not killing an animal just to kill it. I will never kill another lol.

                  We used to catch them and take to the dances for the Armadillo Races held during band breaks.

                  You could sell 2 or 3 to people that wanted to participate for beer money.

                    dug one up one time and caught the little babies. talk about cute. All pink

                      i know they carry lepercy, but i think if you burn them whole, kind of like burning hair on a pig, and cook they are fine(or so i saw on a survivor type show.)

                              I believe I saw the same show. I saw the OP pic and thought to myself.... I think those things carry a disease.
