    Elk hunting pack

    Im looking for a pack thats in the 5000ci range,that will also break down into a day pack,and haul a quarter.Does it exist?for under $500

        Self sufficient for 7-9 days. 29 total pounds. Minus the elk. I made three trips. Love this pack.

                You might look at the Dweight Schua pack. I have had one for years and sure do like it.

                  That's what I am running on every hunt. I wouldn't go with any other pack.

                  For day hunts, I usually just let the meat shelf cradle my rifle or bow along with my spotting scope and tripod. Hydro pack sits nicely in there as well.

                  I open up the wings and get loading meat when ever I am ready to pack out. The three bags together have been way more room than I have ever needed for a 5 day trip.
