Where can I get part for tailgate feeder

I have lost the switch that goes from cigarette lighter to tailgate feeder, where around Fort Worth area can I find one of these ? Or where can I get the parts to make one ? Thanks.

If you hard wire it into the back of the cigarette lighter you could just pick up any switch and o'reily or autozone I would think....i don't really know what your talking about though.

It is a long wire that plugs into your lighter, it has a on off switch that goes to the feeder so you can feed the roads or senders from the cab of your truck.

This is how we rig ours using a heavy duty starter button and PVC. Get the buttons (or a switch, if you prefer that) at any automotive parts place. Just wire it in between the cigarette lighter and the feeder. It's a no-brainier. I prefer direct wiring it to the battery with an in-line fuse.

Get cigarette lighter power adapter and 12v push button switch from RadioShack.
Get some lamp cord from Lowe's or Home Deport.

Solder one end of the lamp cord to the cigarette lighter power adapter.

About 4'-6' from the cigarette lighter power adapter, solder the switch in-line.

For a "grip", I used a 5' long, 3/8"-1/2" clear plastic tube, to hold the push button, running the wire out the bottom side of the tube. Fits in my hand nicely. I secured the switch to the tube with a small hose clamp and electrical tape wrapped around it.

Next, run the other end of the lamp cord to road feeder and splice a connector on it, or hard wire.

I've built 4-5 of these and they've lasted longer than the original switches.
