When I first heard that song it struck home, used to watch him a lot growing up he was someone to look up too if you were a kid that worked around stock at the time..when we lost him in 89' made for bad day, never saw so many Cowboys cry. Needless to say the night was spent drinking beer and telling stories, rode horses till after sun up..

He will always be missed and my son's middle name is Lane..

A lot of people think "Red Rock" is the one that took him, it wasn't, it was "Taking Care of Business"

Yep, that is one of the best country songs ever. I think it's my favorite HTK song. Got to hear him play it a few days ago here in Abilene. He said he was gonna play it at the NFR.
