I had been a member of the GS back when I was pastoring in East Texas and after the big crash of the site and moving I just lost contact. I came back on the GS not too long ago and am just amazed at the generosity and love shown here.
As a pastor in the Church of the Nazarene now 25 years I have rarely seen the outpouring of love and generosity (even in the church) for complete strangers as I have seen here on the GS...go figure.
In Hebrews 13 the following is written..."Let brotherly love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." Your hospitality is touching.
You folks prayed for me when we buried my mother in Athens 4 days before Christmas. You folks have raised money for complete strangers. You folks have donated hunts for complete strangers. You folks have given and given and given. You folks have prayed. Keep it up. I am proud of you!!!
