Okay, so it was sub freeezing this weekend. I jumped into the bow blind so I could stay warmer thanks to my new buddy heater. It was 24 degrees outside and blowing a bit and we had more windows open than I would have wanted - long story, involves friggin cows
It was still cold so I had my fleace face mask and my hoodie on my head. I had on my glove/mit. Nothing came by, which was good because towards the end of the hunt I decided I should have tried drawing to make sure I could with all these clothes on. Guess what... I couldn't hit my anchor point at all. I could not imagine my frustration if I had drawn on an animal and found myself in that situation. Too much clothes between my face and my knuckle!
So what the heck am I supposed to do in this situation?
My anchor is my 1st nuckle tucked under my ear and nose on the sting. The only thing I could think of is that I could just wear a hat that I could get my hand up under there and maybe just use a muff to keep my hands warm go gloveless.
What say you green screen? I've seen folks who post pictures of them with scarfs around thier face, etc... how do you hit your anchor?
