Trophy Ridge React 5 pin Sight........Who????

Okay, who else has purchased the Trophy Ridge React 5 pin sight? I purchased one back prior to the archery opener and had to flip the darned thing to be able to have my sight housing high enough.

You're supposed to be able to sight in 20, then fine tune 30, and the rest will fall into place accordingly. I was able to use my 20 almost all the way to 30, so the 20/30 pins are as close as they will go. Anyone else have this problem? I guess my Hoyt Spyder30 just shoots faster than what the Trophy Ridge designers/engineers used.

Heck I don't know, maybe I've missed something somewhere. I've set up a lot of different bows/sights over the years, but can't seem to figure this one out. I've checked their website, and they're not any help at all.

So what say ye, my TBH brethren?

Haven't had this issue. But I let my bow shop install mine, my 20 & 30 pins have some gap between them but not that much. Have you tried shooting out to 50 if so are you on target?

I have the cypher 5 and my 20/30 are right next to each other and my 40 is as high as I can get it(metal is touching my 30 yard pin) and my 40 is about 46yds

i tried it and with my 20 and 30 dialed in it was spread as far as it would go. 40,50,60 were no where close to right.. sent it back

I have wondered about this. I use top pin for 30 yard shots...

I had one too, didn't like it. It looks kinda fragile hanging out there so far. Sold mine and went back to MBG. Bulletproof.

I have one and is dead on to 60. Not sure why all the problems above. Love this sight.

Love mine. Zeroed 20, checked 30, zeroed 60. All pins dead on 20-60. Greatness. I'm about a quarter turn from it being maxed with my rig launching arrows about 250fps. Pin gaps are pure math, so really like this idea. It is heavy and could see that bothering some. Your peep and anchor position will also determine range of motion.

My setup is shooting 302fps @ 63lbs. As far as peep and anchor position, they are good. I've never had a problem with peep/anchor position with all my other setups in the past.....just this particular sight.

I'm about ready to get rid of it and go back to a CBE. Not gonna change anything until hunting season's over, but I just have a lot of frustration when I feel that this sight is not holding up to what it was cracked up to be.

Have you mounted it where it is as far forward as possible?

Yes. I put it on the bow straight out of the pkg and mounted in the rear holes. Started trying to shoot it in. Arrows were hitting almost a full 12" low, so I followed my arrow and moved the housing down since the top pin was a low as it would go. After bottoming out with the housing, it was still 8" or so low. At that point I checked my peep to make sure everything was correct.

After all this, I called Trophy Ridge. They instructed me to flip the mounting bracket to gain a couple of inches of adjustment. I have my 20yd pin sighted in, but it's good out to 30yds. It's almost worth trying to set it up with my top pin being 30yds and see what happens from there.

Overall, I'm just really frustrated with the adjustment of the sight.
