Moultrie Game Cam Power Packs

They are about $80, and supposedly work with any 2007 or later Moultrie Game Cam. I have the Moultrie 4.0 (regular flash, non IR) that I bought just before last season, but don't know what year model it is, so I don't know if I should buy one of these power packs or not because I don't know if my camera is compatible. After going through $10/month in D cell batteries, it would be a good investiment.

2 questions:

Anyone know what year the Moultrie 4.0 regular flash digitals came out?

Does anyone use one of these power packs?

I would check your camera and see if you have a plug in for 12volt batery like the show in the picture. If you do then it should work.

Hey SGT you can get the same charger from wal mart online at walmart.com for i think i paid 50 or for it then shipping was 15 or so hope this helped you out.

After a little research, I'm thinking I'll just sell the D40 and get the I40...

Sgt. I've got a I40 out and its on D cells. I'm getting almost three months on my D cells. I got mine on a oil lease road that we're watching vehicles on and I get about 200 - 250 pics a month. They might not last that long on a feeder site with a lot of photos but I'm really impressed with the longivity of the batteries and the pic quality of mine.

I just bought one at walmart.com.I paid 59.59 +4.32tax=63.91 total.No charge for site-to-store shipment,7 day delivery.It will take a couple of months to find out how it is working.
